Former DSS spokesperson, Marilyn Ogar compulsorily retired

A former spokesperson for the Department of State Security, Marilyn Ogar, has been compulsorily retired from the agency effective from yesterday September 2nd. According to reports, Ogar alongside some other top executives were handed a letter of retirement.

One Onwuasonya Augustine was charged to court on Tuesday by the EFCC for allegedly swallowing $115,000 to avoid declaring it to officials of the Nigeria Customs Service at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos. The sixth accused, Uzoma, was singularly charged with the offence of obstructing an NDLEA official, Bello Tsanya, in the discharge of his duty. London - Best-selling boy band One Direction released a surprise first single as a foursome on Friday, two days after former member Zayn Malik announced a new record deal as solo artist.
