BMW's chief executive faints on stage as he tried to unveil new car (photos)

                      BMW Chief executive, Harald Krueger, 49, fainted just five minutes into his press conference this morning at the Frankfurt auto show where he was to present the car giant's new electric hybrid. The high-powered executive staggered backwards slightly before falling over. He looked stunned as he lay on the ground holding his head with his hands.


The show's commentator said to the crowd: 'I'm a bit lost for words. BMW will try to redo the press conference at a later stage.'

Krueger was helped from the stage by two assistants and seen by a doctor, following his 'moment of dizziness'. It is understood that Mr Krueger was feeling unwell before taking to the stage.

One Onwuasonya Augustine was charged to court on Tuesday by the EFCC for allegedly swallowing $115,000 to avoid declaring it to officials of the Nigeria Customs Service at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos. Nintendo delays first smartphone 'game'

Nintendo has announced its first smartphone 'game', but delayed its launch from the end of the year until next March. As some predicted, it was not a Super Mario game, but "Miitomo", an app in which players create their own avatars to talk to each other. The company's share price fell as much as 10 percent on the news. But one analyst said it was a typically cautious and prudent first step into smartphone gaming from Nintendo. Nintendo said that Miitomo would be a "free-to-start communication application". Players would create their own Mii avatars, which they could use to chat to other players, it said at a launch event in Tokyo on Thursday. It will also reportedly feature in-app purchases. The features have more in common with a social network than a traditional Nintendo game.
